It’s a weird time, plain and simple. We’re in the middle of a global pandemic. (Didn’t see that one coming.) Coronavirus is changing the entire business landscape. And at Talewind, we’ve been evaluating what we can (or already) do that can be meaningful to clients at a time when direct, in-person connection is simply not an available option.
What We’ve Done
In some cases, like with JAWKU, we’ve put together digital advertising programs to help offset their sudden inability to go to their regular athletic conferences and sporting events. Or for Fiberbuilt Golf, we’ve helped with site optimization, digital advertising and email campaigns to help offset some of the commercial and retail sales they have to leave on the table.
But the biggest thing that jumped out at us was the eLearning programs we build for clients like TaylorMade Golf. With such a large sales network of retail sales associates, TaylorMade can’t personally train everyone in the field about their new seasonal product lines. Instead, we’ve built a comprehensive eLearning and certification program for them that allows their retail partners to have all their salespeople gain the TaylorMade product knowledge they need online. At their own pace, on whatever device they choose. And we even tied it to TaylorMade’s eCommerce site to provide incentives for course completion.
How It’s Meaningful with Social Distancing
Well, guess what? Now NO ONE can get out in the field to train their people, their partners or their customers. The good news is that we deliver our eLearning programs through a simple content delivery system (CDS). It avoids heavy, expensive and complex learning management systems (LMS) and painstaking course authoring tools that require conversion to unique file types like SCORM. (If that all sounds like gibberish, it should. All of these things are industry standards for bloating the time and cost it takes to launch an eLearning program.)
Instead, we can quickly build on our platform with JPEG images and MP4 videos, which makes for a much quicker and more efficient process. And the programs are based heavily on engaging video, which we can easily build from existing assets or shoot in our own in-house studio. So the process can be quick and flexible, which is especially beneficial in our current environment.
So if you need to train your people, your network or your customers in the most efficient and engaging way possible, you just might want to take a look at our solutions. To learn more about our unique platform and get guidance from our eLearning experts, send us an email: info@talewindcreative.com
